The weather was really warm on the way up to Jackson which was really nice. We stayed the night in Jackson and when we woke up it was freezing! The whole ride from Jackson Hole to Yellowstone was cold. I have never felt so cold before.

On our way to Jackson Hole we drove by this gorgeous river -

This is us resting our bottoms at Bear Lake.

ROAD TRIP! - We took our first motorcycle road trip this month to Yellowstone. I was excited to go, it is pretty fun riding on the back of the bike.

Here is the last boat trip we made in 2009. We went to East Canyon and it was a bit chilly but the kids enjoyed playing on the shore.

Boyce turns the big 40!

I tried to surprise him with a party at our house but he figured it out. It is impossible to surprise him. He had fun and alot of his friends showed up to support the OLD MAN! His sister even brought over a speed limit sign with the number 40 on it and put it in the front yard. I thought it was stolen and that we were going to get in trouble but Boyce assured me it was a joke from someone.

The cabin is so relaxing. We love going up there and hanging out.

We did some 4wheeling while we were up there.

Of course dad had to pick up a snake. The kids loved it!

Time flys when you are having fun. It is now Labor Day weekend and we decide to go to Boyce's Sisters Cabin with the family for a couple of days. We have a Football game on Saturday and have to be at a Soccer tournament on Monday so it was a short visit but we needed the new scenery. We head up there after Cordell's game and end up hitting a deer with the Truck. How scary that was! It didn't seem like it did alot of damage but it sure was weird.

Julian loves soccer and he picked his oldest brothers number again this year #13. It was funny watching him play because he was always running to the goal and protecting that instead of going for the goal. I guess he knows the game pretty well.

Boyce Coached the Football team again this year with help from my brother Mike and his friend Ron. Cordell had fun as always and loves the sport.

Sports, Sports and more Sports. This fall we had Callen in Comp. Soccer, Cordell in Football and Julian in outdoor Soccer.

As you know Boyce is the Weeblos Scout Leader and he had 8 boys receive the Arrow of Light award this year, and Cordell was one of them.

Courtney turns 19!! She decides she wants a swim party at our house with some friends. Some of her friends cracked us up, even cracked the neighbors up.

There were quite of bit of people up there (most of them have cabins/houses) so it was nice to be able to all hook up for the day.

Cori and I on the boat, enjoying -

The second day we were able to get the boat in the water (by tractor) we were only out for a couple of hours though. Here is Maddi (Cori and Travis daughter) wake surfing on Bear Lake.

Here is Mr. Ham at Cori's parents house.

While relaxing on the beach we entered the kids in a sand sculpting contest. Here they are hard at work.

Back to back Lake trips. Off to Bear Lake we went for the fourth of July. Our friends get together every 4th and hang out so we joined them again. We brought the windy weather and they were not letting people launch their boats because of it; so we hung at the beach. We were able to put the boat in the water on the second day.
Here are the girls - Cori, Andrea and me.

I always miss Lake Powell when we leave. I absolutely love that place!

Here are my boys being my boys!

Cordell and Julian even got to fish for the first time, this year at Powell.

Courtney

We tried wake surfing for the first time and some of us were successful. Cordell got up his first time, yeah Cordell!!

The Bridge -

We vistited Rainbow Bridge again because Courtney had never been there before.

Aaron

Cordell

We did some cliff jumping...

Julian

We went down to Lake Powell with our "other" daughter Courtney and her boyfriend Aaron.

Our kids played in the Mud for hours and had a blast!

Our friends Brian and Brook were down at Powell the same time we were and we actually found them hanging out on a beach if you can believe it.

Finally, my home away from home - Lake Powell. My favorite place to be!

Last but not least I thought I would share how spoiled Julian was at the Airport on our way home. Cute but spoiled!

I think that this California trip was the best one so far. We had so much fun as a family and all got along.

As always, wherever we go we bring the cold weather. This is at the end of the day on the beach trying to keep warm.

The Family on the beach -

All of our kids wanted to Body Surf while we were there so here they are riding the waves!

Our kids found tons of sand crabs and they are gross little things. Here is one of them and they are under the sand on the beach's EWE YUCK! No wonder I am a Lake person rather than an Ocean person.

Here is Boyce in his homemade beach chair relaxing and watching the kids do their thing

While we were down there we of course had to go to the beach. We ended up going to Huntington Beach and it was a very nice beach. The kids were so excited to go there I think that was the highlight of their trip. We took a bike ride along the beach in a bikecar?? We all were able to pedal so nobody (but Julian) got to just sit there. It was fun and man did we get our exercise!

We got to ride the new Toy Story ride at Disneyland and it was pretty cool. Here are the kids in line for it with their 3D glasses on.

I am a huge Pirates of the Caribbean fan and love Jack Sparrow (because of Johnny Depp of course) but here is my own little Jack Sparrow and I would take him over Johnny Depp any day.

The kids really liked the Mummy ride and the Simpson's ride but here is a picture of them on the Jurassic Park ride. They rode this quite a bit.
